Inauguration
of Distributing Food Assistance for More Than 86,500 HHs in Sa’adah Governorate
Thursday 20/04/2017, SFP&HR has inaugurated distribution
food assistance for the target HHs, within the Emergency Project No. (200
890) April 2017 Distribution Cycle.This project is funded by WFP.
While inauguration,Hamoud Al-Akhram, General Manager of
SFP&HR, stated that the total number of the beneficiaries is (86520) HHs,
in (12) Districts, (Baqim – Qataber – Munabeh – Saqayn – Alhaswah – KitafWalBuq’e
– Haidan – Ghamer – Majz – Sehar – As Safra – Sa’adah). The distribution is
operated at (108) FDPs ( Schools).
This food assistance has been offered for reducing the current
suffering of the people due to the critical humanitarian circumstances.
Al-Akhram indicated that per HH receives 75kg of Wheat Flour
two tins of cooking oil (3.67kg)for per tin, 10 kg of pulses and 2.5kg of
sugar.
Hamoud Al-Akhram thanked WFP for their efforts they offer
for delivering those assistance to the right people.
